Luce Center Pool

As one of the premier aquatic facilities for private colleges in the region, the Luce Center Natatorium features eight lanes and serves as home of the Asbury men’s and women’s swimming teams.

The venue received several key upgrades in recent years, including an eight-lane Daktronics scoreboard with custom branding and a permanent sound system both installed in 2021. In the fall of 2019, two additional upgrades occurred with the installation of new starting blocks and an industrial-sized.

The new starting blocks feature the AU logo and significantly enhance the Natatorium as a competition venue. The industrial fan, designed to be in harsh aquatic environments, was installed in the center of the pool ceiling. This addition has increased air circulation that improves the safety and comfort for student-athletes, spectators, coaches, and lifeguards.
